This is the sixth edition from Tabart, published in the same year as their first.Illustrated with a hand-coloured copper plate frontispiece, and with one further hand coloured plate. Collated, lacking the third plate referred to by the title page.Ink inscriptions to verso of front wrap and recto of rear wrap.With a publisher's advertisement to the verso of the title page.Jisc lists only three institutionally held copies of this work: eleventh and twelfth editions held by the University of Cambridge, and a fourteenth edition held by the V&A Museum libraries. CONDITION In the original paper wraps. Paper repair to back strip. Original title label to front wrap, detaching to head and with spotting. Spotting and handling marks to wraps. Ink inscriptions to verso of front wrap and recto of rear wrap. Internally, binding strained and somewhat tender. Pages lightly age toned, but generally clean, with only the odd spot.
