1850 Austrian Vienna Dwarf Serpentine Black Tulip Flower Single Weight Clock

Description: Ultra rare Vienna dwarf or miniature serpentine clock made by Austrian clock masters. The movement has been stamped with trademark (pictured) next to the serial number but unfortunately I couldn’t find any data about this trademark even Mikrolisk has no info about this clover look a like mark . Unique Black Tulip design of the clock Highest quality Austrian antique clocks such as this are entirely hand made and finished by time served master clockmaker's and should not be confused with the much cheaper mass produced German clocks. Austrian clocks like this were only made for the most discerning customers (who could afford them) and took many months to complete individually. Case is made in solid rosewood in flower motive with two tone carvings. The movement has been dismantled and cleaned thoroughly so it works as it should the video shows the first swing of the pendulum after service and as you can see works as it should . This is 8- day with single weight high quality movement Overall very good condition of the clock and its rosewood case with nice lovely patina . Unfortunately the porcelain dial has couple of chips one at 10 o’clock and anther one at 5 o’clock basically the one at the 5 someone was trying to fix it however it doesnt look bad and is almost unnoticeable once on the wall .The dial can be changed but i decided to keep original one with the clock as this only adds character to the cock High - 85 cm Width - 34 cm Depth - 13 cm Dial Diameter - 14 cm The porcelain beat plate is in very good condition the pendulum as pictured with tiny dents however look nice The clock is currently ticking away happily on the wall awaiting new home .
