Description: I have here for sale a book entitled HISTORY OF THE CONQUEST OF PERU, with a preliminary view of the CIVILIZATION OF THE INCAS. By WILLIAM PRESCOTT. Published in 1878 by BICKERS & SON, London. Bound in brown linen boards. Gilt title lettering on the spine, black embossed patterning on the front board. Unfortunately the front board is detached although still attached to the spine. Black endpapers. Scattered foxing, pages are generally clean and bright. Small section is loose. Price reflective of condition, with a little TLC this book would be in good+ condition, xxiv, 510pp plus publishers list : 25cm x 18cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account.
