Inner gilt dentelles and prize plate to the front paste down. Top corners bumped and damaged and spine slightly faded. Silk bookmark frayed at the end. Top edge gilt, other page edges untrimmed. Approximately 8 ¼ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine – good condition – gilt titles and author, 5 raised bands dividing 6 compartments, faded, gilt decoration to the top and tail, faded to brown.Joints – good condition – v small crack at the top of the front joint.Corners – fair to good condition – top corners bumped and damaged.Boards – good condition – full leather boards with gilt crest decoration to the front board and gilt lines to outer edges, the top right and corner of the front board and top left hand corner of the rear board is bumped and cracked.Page edges – good condition – top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges untrimmed, tanned and foxed.See above and photos.
