Description: This is a sale for a 100% original Program for the University of Pennsylvania Quakers at the University of Michigan for the 1911 game. This program is in FAIR condition. This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * First and foremost, this is a very early UofM/Penn program when the great Fielding Yost was still coaching.   * The attendance at this game was a mere 17,000. Assuming even normal survival rates, there are only a handful of this program and assuredly not in as fine of condition. * This program features All-Americans Frederick L. Conklin, Stanfield Wells, James B. Craig and future/past AAs like Miller Pontius, George 'Bottles' Thomson, & George C. Paterson (UM) and College Football Hall of Famer Leroy Mercer (Penn, who likely had other AAs on their squad). The less than ideals are: The biggest flaw is the overall wear. Paper has dried and flaked off (see bottom right cover corner), internal pages are creased/dog eared. Otherwise, all other normal period wear exists like page turn/handling, corner/edge/page turn/surface wear, etc. The back shows similar wear. Please see pix.
