This item has a crack, the furthest knob on the left side is loose and I am unsure if it works properly, dirty spots, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, material on the top portion of the radio is coming loose, and the very top of the radio is rough to touch. When I plugged the radio in it did take a minute for it to make radio noises and it took me some time but I did find a radio station however it was very static sounding. The light came on right away when plugged in and the cord is in good condition. This item may need some tinkering. This radio is heavy duty.
