So I pulled the cover and the thing looks literally brand new inside. The bearing is smooth as can be. The former buyer has no idea what he’s talking about. The gasket was dry rotted so I used black silicone. It may need a new gasket. I have no doubt this is a rebuilt pump and should function just fine. 63-68 LINCOLN WATER PUMP. REBUILT BUT HAS BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE UNCOVERED. TURNS OVER NICE AND SMOOTH.
