Description: 1997 Fleer Ultra Top 30 Gold Medallion Card. These cards are unique because the image of the player is embossed on the card. Parts of their face/body may look a bit distorted/disfigured or show white spots because of the embossed image on the card when it is scanned. The indentations of the embossing create this effect when the light is scanned on the card. The white spots on Griffey's face are an example. The actual card does not have those white spots. These cards look awesome when you physically have them in your hand. These cards were known for having gold specs/blotches on the front of some of the cards. It is smooth to the surface and it does not rub off. It was a manufacturing issue with the gold tone printing on the card. The back of the cards are fine because only the front has the gold tone. You will notice some of my cards have them. See all pictures for corners, edges, surface and centering before purchasing.
