1999 Reverend Avenger White, One-Owner & Near Mint, Eastpointe USA-Made

Description: Up for sale, a 1999 Reverend Avenger in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A one-owner instrument, this early, rare phenolic Reverend from the third year of production at the Eastpointe, MI factory in the USA, set apart from later examples. This Reverend is a unique combination of Danelectro-style construction, Fender-style electronics, and Art Deco aesthetics. According to Reverend, only 281 Avengers were produced between 1997 and 2006 (when Reverend discontinued their phenolic production). Essentially taking the principles of Danelectro construction and elevating them with premium materials and techniques, the semi-hollow body is crafted from high pressure phenolic laminate on top and back, with a full-length white mahogany centerblock (with steel sustain bar) and a injection molded, one-piece high-impact polymer rim. The semi-hollow construction gives this Avenger great natural bark and treble snap, providing an ideal platform for the trio of custom-wound single coils. Featuring ceramic construction, these pickups are punchy and powerful, with a gutsy sparkle at the bridge and a throaty chop at the neck that retains excellent articulation. This Avenger is featherweight at 5lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
