Description: This lovely German .800 silver teas trainer was probably made in Hanau. It features a fine openwork floral border and very detailed cast reserve scenes; one featuring a peasant rowing towards a windmill and one with two men drinking beer under a tree next to a Bierstube. The bowl of the strainer is gilded. The piece bears the German .800 purity mark of the crown and crescent. There is also a tiny maker's hallmark that is illegible. The piece is in great antique condition with no notable damage of any sort. Stock Number SA2D-269
