Using a properly sized alignment rod ensures that your canis concentric to the bore, and catches the issue before a costly mistake if itis misaligned. Our standard sizing is designed for a close fit to the borein the majority of firearms, but we can do any custom sizes and lengthsnecessary with a bit more lead time. Feel free to contact us, nothing is off the table. Unless otherwise requested, the material willbe O2 or W2, and ends will have a slight bevel. Standard sizing is as follows: .22/223: 0.212" 6.5mm: 0.250" .308/7.62: 0.295" 9mm/.357: 0.344" .375: 0.359" 10mm/.40: 0.386" .45/.458: 0.438" These calibers are all 12" lengths unless otherwiserequested. I can do nearly any caliberand length, but some are not advisable (extra long .17 or .22 rods) due totheir likelihood of bending in shipping. .50 BMG, 20mm, and other large bore projects will be sizedas requested by end user (I can advise you if you're not sure).
