All measurements are taken at the widest points and are approximate. One side is beveled, and the other side is flat so these will accommodate several types of stones, eggs, spheres and balls. These are the perfect stands to display stone, wooden, ceramic or even edible, dyed hard boiled eggs (around Easter). You can also display spheres, crystals, shells signed baseballs, hole-in-one golf balls and many other items as well. Once you have some of these you will find a lot of uses for them.
