Description: Located in L/R. Chair 2 of 2 availble. 1950's signed Thonet tub chair, original naugahyde? (or other quality vinyl material) upholstery, bent wood legs. Solidly made chair, vinyl in good condition, inside backrest has a number of really small marks to the chair's inside left side backrest (see photos 6 thru 9, I had a difficulty getting a good photo), and 2 small punctures along the top (see photos 10 & 11). Seat is good with maybe a few small soil marks. Previous owner painted the legs white, I rubbed some off the end of one leg, where attached to the seat, with a damp clothe, so suppose it's a water based paint. Vinyl is flexible, not stiff or dried out, and should be with no cuts, scuffs, burns, holes, other than wahat's descibed above. All the hardware shows rust, as does the thumb tacks, and needs replaced. Vinyl is in overall good/acceptable condition. Overall chair is 28" tall at back, and 21" widest point. Seat itself is 18 1/2" wide at front, 18" deep (front to back), 17" above floor. Retains original Thonet label, with a New York 1 cent inspection stamp. ASSEMBLY NEEDED. I'll be removing the legs to lower shipping cost, legs will be marked as the CHAIR'S LF (Left Front), RF (Right Front), LR, and RR I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER CHAIR, SLIGHLY DARKER GREEN, THAT IS MUCH BETTER CONDITION, AND IS LISTED.
