Estudió Bellas Artes y Diseño Gráfico en Buenos Aires. Desde muy niña participó en varias exposiciones de arte y ya de adolescente introdujo a su faceta artística la escritura y los comics. En el año 2000 ganó un concurso de pintura en NY que la llevó a mudarse a dicha ciudad y vivir ahí durante 7 años. A raíz de los ataques del 11 de Septiembre creó una serie de pinturas 3D de los subways. Esta expo fue exhibida en el Consulado Argentino en NY, Art Gallery 216 (Soho) y S.e.e.d Gallery (Brooklyn). Durante estos años en La Gran Manzana, Denise trabajó también en Geoff Howell Studio como set designer y como pintora de murales para clientes privados en Manhattan, Hamptons y Long Island. En al año 2007 dejó NY y durante 6 años vivió en diferentes ciudades europeas (Londres, Dublín, París y Barcelona). Realizó varias residencias y exhibiciones en toda Europa. En el año 2008 publicó su primera novela gráfica acerca de su vida "Un mapa a medida". En el 2013 se estableció en Barcelona. El nacimiento de sus mellizas la inspiraron a trabajar como ilustradora de libros infantiles, entre ellos: "My friend, Mi amigo", "Dinosaurs Devotions", "I wanna be" y muchos más.
