These games span many years, from the late 1980's into the early 2000's. Originally released by TSR and SSI (Strategic Systems Inc) in individual editions, these are the second trilogy of PC Games released by TSR / SSI, RPG games for personal computers:Champions of KrynnThe Dark Queen of KrynnDeath Knights of KrynnThese individual editions were successful RPG PC Games released in the early 1990's, only to be re-released through WizardWorks in a Collector's Edition which included all three games of the trilogy in one boxed set. This was a common practice, due to the fact that the original game was released using 5 1/4" Floppy Disks. At that time, multiple disks would be necessary to hold all the information needed to load the game, especially as the player progressed onto higher levels. Once technology advanced to 3.5" HD Disks, fewer disks were needed to hold all the data, and it reduced the possibility of damaged disks from wear and tear of usage. The Collector's Volume 2, in addition to the 3.5" HD Disks for each game (1 for Champions, 2 for Dark Queen and 1 for Death Knights) includesInstallation Instructions and Data Card for all three games.Instruction Manual and Adventure's Journal for all three gamesLimited Edition certificate for Dragonlance. The original box is complete, with only minor wear on the corners. No creases, tears or crushing damage from storage. The books and disks are all in excellent condition. For RPG gamers who enjoy the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons / Forgotten Realms line, this is a classic and a great addition to anyone who has a gaming set-up capable of playing this vintage series.
