Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Amazin Antique Solid Wood Free Standing Triple Armoire. The piece is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear at all. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece. It most likely dates to the middle to last part of the 19th Century. It features a gorgeous carved molding around the top, with a beautiful carved feather plume at the top center. The piece also features carved floral motif at the top center, and carved accents around the top as well as the bottom trim. The piece has a semi-serpentine shape, with the two ends being quite curvy, and the center section flatter. The piece has widely reeded front corners at each end of the front, that carry it into the sides gracefully. The mirror features a a 3/4-inch bevel and is a custom rectangular shape that compliments the entire shape of the piece. The armoire has the original metal hanging rod still inside, in both the center and right sides, as well as a single drawer in the right side. The drawer has thick dovetail joinery. The left side has five shelves in it, and space for a sixth. The shelf supports are built-in and not adjustable, but the shelves do come in and out. The three sections sit on a single base, with gorgeous carved trim work and reverse scroll feet. I am unsure of the type of wood that this armoire is made from. It is most likely Cherry, and it has a beautiful finish that has obviously been well cared for. The armoire is 89.5" tall, 73.5" long across the front, and 20" wide front to back. It is an incredible Victorian piece that is in completely usable condition with minimal to no restoration needed.
