Description: Here's a very old pair of barber's shears from the A.V.K. Rimelspach Company of Detroit. The scissors are stamped "M.I. Solingen-Germany", and "Service Special".The condition is very good, with no damage except for darkening and discoloration of the finish, and some light pitting in a few areas - see pics.The pivot is still solid and easily adjustable for more or less tension.The tips have no damage.The scissors could use sharpening, but I'll leave that to a professional. They still cut hair, however.These seem to be very rare. I could find no information on the company on the internet.This is a beautifully made pair of scissors that has survived intact for likely a century.
