Description: Beautiful Alabaster Acid Cut/etched Lamp Shade Could be used as a ceiling Light or a lamp shade - see photos This is a rare gorgeous lamp shade from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. I believe it is acid etched, but I am no lamp shade expert - please see the photos. I think this was originally a ceiling light, but it would make a gorgeous table lamp - there is a hole in the top to hold it to the ceiling light and it could easily be used on a table lamp - please see all photos as they are a huge part of the description of this lamp - the color is just gorgeous!!! Measures approximately 8 1/5" tall and 10" wide at the wides part The base opening measures approximately 7 1/4" in diameter on the inside edge Excellent gently displayed condition - has some marks/flea bite chips where the color has rubbed off -see photos - doesn't really show much when hung up - one chip where the shade attaches to a fixture.
