Description: Offered is a beautiful pair of earrings dating to the mid-Victorian period featuring French Bressan enamel with a halo of gorgeous old handcut paste gems. These likely began their life as buttons, but were later converted to something more fashionable later in their life. I would date the conversion to about 1940 based on the findings and glue used to fix the screw backs to the buttons. Dimensions: Appx 3/4" in diameter. Total weight is 7.9g Condition: Very good antique condition. As noted, these were likely buttons converted to earrings and the screw backs are glued on as can be seen in the photos. This was a common practice and they are very sturdy. Please review the photos before purchasing as no returns will be accepted for this reason. Domestic shipping is included. International customers please message for shipping eligibility and estimate if shipping is available to your location. **Coral's Emporium specializes in vintage and antique jewelry.
