Description: Please look at pictures for part of description. This beautiful piece was meant to hang on the wall holding slippers in the Victorian era. It has leaves and vines carved on a thin piece of walnut with a decorative slipper pocket made of needlepoint with a dog that looks like a spaniel to me. Needlepoint is not perfect. If this is not the original needlepoint, it is still very old. The wood carved design has been repaired on both sides but is not noticeable unless you are looking to find repairs. Hanging on the wall is the safest way to keep this item as opposed to keeping something this old shoved in a box. It will be carefully packed and shipped. Approximately 13" w x 22 3/4" tall.
