Description: I believe this International pickup truck box is authentic for use on the 1933, 1934, 1935, and 1936 C-series pickup trucks. Please correct me here if this information is not correct. In my opinion, the C-series International trucks are some of the best-looking vehicles they ever built. Unfortunately, these beauties were produced during the depths of the so-called "Great Depression" so that makes them relatively hard to find today. ole I have an excellent grille for this vintage IH truck, as well as 2 original crank hole covers, and an NOS genuine IH bug screen that has the famous IH triple diamond logo on it. I plan to list these items here soon as well. This is a very hard-to-find box in any condition, especially one that has very little rust and is complete with the original tailgate intact. This beauty measures _________ inches long inside and ___________ inches wide inside. I do not have any correct rear fenders to go with this box at this time. The fourth photo of this listing shows a close-up photo of the original International part number tag that is on the lower left rear part of this box. I found this box and tailgate made into a trailer a few years ago. I had hoped to use it on a pickup project. I am now 70 years of age and have over 250 collector vehicles to deal with so I decided to let this very hard-to-find gem go to the world of IH pickup collectors. I also have a 1937 to 1940 International D-2 pickup that I plan to list here soon as well as several 1950 to 1975 International pickup trucks. This box is in relatively nice original condition considering it is now around 90 years old. Thanks to our relatively dry climate here in Montana, this box has not decomposed as it might have in wetter climates. The last photo of this listing is a file photo of a restored 1935 model C-1 pickup truck. This photo shows how beautiful the C-series of International trucks really are. As you can see in the photos, there are some minor rusted-through spots on the lower right side of the front panel. There is also some relatively minor rust in the floor in the right front corner of this box. There is a slight twist in the box but that will be no problem once it is attached to the chassis. I have not tried to straighten that twist and will leave that optional task to the new owner. The last photo of this listing shows this box as I found it as a trailer a few years ago. The trailer chassis parts and wrong rear fenders are not included. I have plenty of secure outdoor storage here and can store this item for you if you or a friend are planning a trip to beautiful Montana sometime in the next year or so. I am also planning a trip east to Minnesota to deliver and pickup up a car sometime in early June. I may be able to deliver this to you depending on where you live. I have a lot of friends in the collectible car, truck, tractor, toy, and sign hobbies and may be able to help coordinate delivery of this truly exceptional box depending on where you live and how soon you want it. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn - phone 4O6-799-I847 in Bozeman Montana USA PLEASE NOTE : I just remembered I have a good Knox pickup box with a tailgate that I believe is from a 1936 to 1940 D-Series International pickup. I do not have it home yet but I plan to list it here when I get it home in a week or so. I was raised on a family farm using International vehicles and equipment and have been interested in them for over 60 years. I can only recall ever having seen one other Knox box. It was on what I recall was K or KB series truck in Bozeman. It was made from tread plate that had 1/2" or so squares. The Knox box I found is probably earlier and made entirely from sheet metal rather than tread plate. This Knox box came with a very solid D-Series cab that someone cut the firewall out of. I suspect someone built a hay buck rake on an International pickup chassis and used the firewall but cut and removed this cab. I hope to have photos of it and list it here too very soon.
