Description: This listing is for a Honda CB400 (Fits models - CB400 A ) (1978) This kit is for original OEM FRONT Nissin/Honda calipers!These are polished 316L stainless steel 'Forever' pistons to replace worn or corroded caliper pistons. Each piston is manufactured in the UK using the latest CNC machines. Type 316L is one of the highest specification Stainless steels available - superior to both 303 & 304 grade stainless steels. Type 316L is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel containing molybdenum. This addition increases corrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting from chloride ion solutions and provides increased strength at elevated temperatures. Properties are similar to those of Type 304, except that this alloy is somewhat stronger at elevated temperatures. Corrosion resistance is improved, particularly against sulfuric, hydrochloric, acetic, formic and tartaric acids - acid sulfates and alkaline chlorides. Type 316L has an extensive variety of uses especially in marine applications due to the materials high corrosion resistance. This listing is for ONE caliper only. This model usually requires one set.
