Description: This wonderful Marbles knife is the early prototype of the 4.5" fixed blade Woodcraft model. It features a stacked leather handle with the rarer bone pommel. Note the "pat. pend." stamp on the ricasso--this knife design received its patent in 1916, but was put into production in 1914. It comes with its original Marbles-stamped sheath. The blade is in great used condition, with one minor nick. The bone pommel shows a bit of loss (see photos). It is offered at my consignor's retail price, but he is open to reputable offers.
