It could easily be replaced with white to make the gown whiter. One could also add an additional full crinoline type slip/skirt underneath for additional fullness and a more princess type look. In a couple of the photos I held a dark tan paper behind the detail on back for a clearer view. In last photo, I held a white cotton shirt beside for color reference.
