Description: Early 20th Century Americana Water Color Painting in Oval Frame Floral. This is a sweet Americana botanical study in water color, showing "Great Chickweed" in colors of white and green with a background wash of lavenders and blues. Given the age, the condition of the watercolor is very good with some yellowing of the matting. The frame is wonderful with great age patina. The gold medallions are applied. The picture is under glass. There may be a signature, but it is not seen as currently framed. The oval frame is antique/vintage and is in good condition with the following issues; minor varnish losses, a few minor chips and cracking to the gesso. Measurements are approximately 14" x 12". _____________________________Please read the description and view photos.
