Description: ITEM #762-R A note to all of my favored friends and customers. It has come to my attention that someone has attempted to steal my user name and they may be trying to fool you into buying from them while you think that you are buying from me. The way to tell the difference is that on my ebay user name I have and will continue to have no spaces in my name. It is one word and always has been " vintageelectronicpartsguy ". I hope this will clear up any questions regarding this matter that you may have. As always you can reach me through ebay messaging. I hope you all will have a great spring and summer.Doug Fisk <>< :-)HOBBIESTBOX OF POTENTIOMETERSStandard 3/4 turn, 10 turn, screw slot, flattened side for a knob with a set screw, round for a press on knob, short shaft, long shaft, large body, small body, and much more. I am not sure how to measure them. [1 ea.], (Old Stock) Now the pots.Photo #3 is of CERMET TRIMMER POTS. These adjust with a screw on one end. Values are 100Ω, 2KΩ, 5KΩ, 25KΩ, 50KΩ and 1MEGΩ. There is one of each.Photo #4 is of a different type of pot that is adjusted with a micro flat screwdriver on one edge or a mini flat screwdriver on a flat side. The values are 2.0KΩ, 4.67KΩ, 4.97KΩ, 9.44KΩ, 10.3KΩ, 10.32KΩ, 10.59KΩ, 11.03KΩ, 46.64KΩ and 101.7KΩ. There is one each. The numbers are actual readings when tested.Photo #5 is of 25ea. 5KΩ side adjustable pots that have not been tested by me. I believe they are all "take outs" from working equipment.Photo #6 is of #503 trim pots. These are very small and adjust on the top. All but one is labeled 50KΩ. These are the actual readings when I tested them. 47.05KΩ, 1.57MΩ (not 50K), 47.45KΩ, 41.36KΩ, & 45.14KΩ. One each.Photo #7 is of trim pots that are round with a flat screwdriver slot on top and 3 legs underneath. This is a mixture of old and new. Values are 1KΩ (1 ea.), 2KΩ (1 ea.), 10KΩ (1 ea.), 20KΩ (3 ea.), 47KΩ (1 ea.), 100KΩ (1 ea.) and 2MΩ (1 ea.). These are not tested values.Photo #8 is a mixture of 16 various pots (one of each value-type as listed). Check the photo carefully if they are important to you. I will give you values but the rest is up to you this time.1KΩ @ .860KΩ actual, 10K @ 9.60KΩ actual, 5.39KΩ actual, 45.8KΩ actual, 100Ω actual, 87.3Ω actual, 88.8KΩ actual, 97.0KΩ actual, 100.7KΩ actual, 78.2KΩ actual, 102.6KΩ actual, 1.97MΩ actual, .597KΩ actual, 1.01KΩ actual, 1.02KΩ actual, 1.00kΩ actual. That is all there is. There should be about 92 potentiometers all together, but I am going to throw a handful of various pots into the mix to make sure you get more than 100 potentiometers for the low "buy it" now price. Please read all that is below, it could end up being very important to you. TESTING: When I test them, I first turn the shaft to see how many turns there are from one side to the other. Then I take my multimeter, set to "auto" for continuity. I put one lead on the center tang and the other lead on either side tang. Then I turn the shaft all the way and watch for the final read out. That read out is the number I give you as the actual value. It will almost always be somewhat different than the stated value. If it has a different readout than I started with I assume it works correctly. Then I do the same for the other side. This is the way I test them. If that doesn't agree with you then please stop before you buy. I won't be taking any back because you don't think it works. Policy:Item # 1.
