LeJour 7000 Chronograph Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Heuer Pasadena

Description: Here we have a beautiful, early PVD cased, LeJour 7000 Day Date Chronograph in remarkable mint condition. This watch was made by Heuer in the 80's and is the same as their Pasedena model but distributed under the Le Jour name in a private label arrangement. This model was famously worn by Tom Cruise in the movies Top Gun and recently Top Gun: Maverick. His own variation being a Porsche Design Chronograph 1 made by Orfina. All of these watches are almost identical in appearance, saving some subtle dial variations and share the same Valjoux 7750 movement. They were manufactured and sold under different brand names like Orfina, IWC, Le Jour and Heuer depending on their market destination at the time. More often than not, these watches are found in bad condition with the majority of the black PVD coating having worn off - Though this example is in a miraculous state, having been worn carefully and sparingly, with little to no wear to the finish.
