Description: DESCRIPTION: Collection of 5 vintage MCM or early 1960s Jewelry Boxes, 2 are signed. 1) The BEIGE W GILDED top design is marked "FASHIONED BY FARRINGTON GENUINE TEXOL" on bottom. This one has a dark pink/rose satin and velvet lining, and goldtone metal trim. 2) GREY VELVET in unmarked that I can see. This one has a Grey felt interior, with 2 grey velvet pouches that snap in, and are removable. 3) RUSSET box is marked MELE inside lining 4) Cream with silvertone top decoration is unmarked. This one has a mirror and a black felt divided bottom. 5) Largest is a MELE cream with goldtone decoration, pink satin and velvet lining. I consider this one the "shabbiest" as it has darkening, yellowing, as well as worn corners. It is marked "MELE" on back side/top. SIZE: For size reference, the largest (Mele) is about 11" by 8" by 1 3/4" high. The Russet velvet box is about 6 5/8" by 4 1/4" by 1 5/8" high. Measurements are to the best of my ability to measure. CONDITION: Vintage, used condition. THESE ARE NOT in mint condition, they have all been used. Some wear inside and out. Scuffs, bumped corners, etc. Pinholes and or crushing of velvet, dents in lining, pinpricks, couple "runs" in the satin, but NO ODORS. Overall a clean, pretty look. These cute boxes will be a great addition to your collection and striking to use. . Please see my other items listed. .
