Some wear to corners of boards, alttle rubbing to edges, and lower board a little dusty looking, otherwise a very good clean sound copy. Illustrations clean and fresh looking. Scarce. Copac only locates copies at British Library & Trinity College Dublin. Elizabeth Skottowe (1912-1970), illustrator and writer, was born in Adelaide. She studied at the South Australian School of Art, Adelaide and worked as an illustrator in the 1930s. She designed a coloured poster for London's Southern Railway and also wrote children's books.
