Manufactured in Spain, at the Genuine Weber manufacturing facility, we use the very latest production techniques to ensure the finest quality and attention to detail. As part of our special relationship with Weber, we conduct a series of tests and adjustments on every Weber we sell. We only use factory Weber equipment to ensure each carburetor is working correctly, matched for multi-carb applications, as well as to ease installation and minimize final tuning adjustments. REDLINE conducts the following tests on all the Weber’s we sell: • We use a Weber flow bench to measure both left and right carburetor CFM at wide open throttle to insure well matched carburetors. • We measure flow past the throttle plates at idle, insuring pre-adjusted, accurate, air flow at curb idle • We measure each mixture screw port/hole for size and depth, measure mixture screw values of vacuum at ½ turn out, 1 turn out, 1 ½ turns out, as well as accurately adjust the float height and geometry for matched performance. • We assign a stamped “serial number” to each carburetor that refers to these recorded measurements (and more) along with the date and technician doing the inspections for any tech support or reference. 40-IDTP3C supersedes to 40-IDA3C Most reverse mounted mid-engines have linkage to compensate for the reverse throttle levers. example 914/6
