Description: Presented is a wonderful quality southeast Asian spice container from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The container is done in the shape of a six petaled flower, with each petal and the flower's center all being a separate container with hinged lid. The lids of the containers have a simple geometric design. There are no identifying marks beyond some type of script on the bottom, but we believe this is of southeast Asian or Indian origin, at least 800 purity silver. This is a fantastic and interesting piece of silver construction, and would be great for a dresser box, pill box, or any similar purpose. This piece is in excellent condition. The hinges are all in good working order. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The container is approximately 8 inches across and stands 2 3/8 tall at the highest point. This piece weighs 573 grams. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
