Description: This is a beautiful example of early carnival glass. It was made by Northwood and has the mark. There are imperfections and one chip so please review all photos before purchasing . I will provide more photos upon request. This is an old piece with some wear and scratches as expected. Most notable imperfections: - There are 3 places around the ruffled edge where there is a tiny split in the finish. I have provided close ups of each. They are not cracks. - there is one ruffle that is chipped. Can be seen in photo. Blends in with the piece. - there are scratches on the piece. I have photographed the most noticeable but there are more -one decoration on outside of bowl has an imperfection on each side - see photo - they are smooth - most likely an imperfection in the mold -small rough imperfection at top of seam on the base. Despite imperfections still gorgeous!
