It is a handmade piece with an agate slice as a pendant. The pendant does not slide, it is fixed to the sliver tone alloy chain. The agate slice composed of mixed minerals from the dark browns to the beautiful blues and small amount of green, almost like turquoise colors, which is what makes this necklace stand out. The pendant is adorned with some tiny charms at the top, a faux pearl and others made of glass and plastic. The chain measures 30 inches and is a basic no nonsense silver tone metal alloy chain. It closes with a lobster clasp. The pendant itself is highly polished and is nice and shiny. The pendant measures approximately 2" long x 1 & 5/8th inch wide. Conditional issues are light surface scratching, some dullness of the chain. This is a gorgeous piece for wearing with turtleneck sweaters, turtlenecks under blazers and turtlenecks with a long sweater over it. It is a perfect piece for career wear as well as playwear and it is a necklace that will get noticed in the best of ways.
