No stock photo here. Collectors note: a nearly perfect copy with outstanding eye appeal! Comic is strictly graded in near mint- (NM-) condition according to the Overstreet Price Guide grading guidelines. Check scans closely for condition and defects. Just the slightest additional defect or defects that keep it from grading Near Mint. A limited number of minor bindery defects are allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting possible. No creases. No tears allowed on cover. A 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch bend is allowed with no color break. Slight interior tears are allowed-it was common for very slight tears to be present along the lower margins of interior pages from this era of comics [a printing process defect that was caused when the paper was pulled through the printing press; a very common printing defect from this era of comics]. Note: a minor bindery "stress" at mid-spine on front cover plus ever-so-slight blunting at upper left corner and slight abrasion at bottom spine corner on back cover. Comic is clean and flat. Cover gloss is superb; inks are bright with high reflectivity on front cover with the slightest dimming of reflectivity on back cover. Pages are brilliant white. Shipping details: After nearly ten years of keeping shipping costs at the same rate, we have recently had to raise them due to another increase by the USPS. Comic ships in a comic bag with backing board, securely and safely wrapped in bubble wrap, within a Gemini cardboard mailer for $5.95, which includes tracking number and insurance. Larger orders of comics/magazines will ship in a small box. Note: Larger orders may ship USPS Media mail, UPS Ground or Fed-Ex Ground, whichever is cheaper, since most larger orders would typically qualify for the free shipping method [paid by me]. [Note: with the rising costs to collector supplies not all comics will be boarded in larger orders but all will definitely be bagged]. [Additional Note: We will N-E-V-E-R ship your comics in junkie mailers or cheap flimsy boxes; i.e. a school pocket folder or cereal box! Your comics will arrive to you in the same condition that we sold them in. We do our best to always place them into new comic bags and boards or Mylar sleeves for the older more valuable comics.
