It is therefore unaffected by the September 18th 2022 week number rollover event that caused most XLi receivers to fail to sync to GPS and to show an incorrect date. Here's a used Symmetricom XLi Time/Frequency unit in good cosmetic condition and that has almost every option installed. The display is bright and legible. The unit has been tested and confirmed to operate as it should, including full GPS lock and correct time/date display. This unit does have the internal GPS receiver card (87-8028-2) installed which supplies 12 volts to the antenna, so the use of a matched Symmetricom AT575 12V antenna is recommended. The internal 10MHz oscillator is the upgraded Rubidium type for greater free-running stability. The firmware has been upgraded to the latest version posted on the Symmetricom website (v2.4), and this supports reporting and configuration via a web interface. The unit does have the optional software based functions activated: NTP server, Time Interval/Event Timer (TIET), Frequency Measurement, Programmable Pulse Output. In addition there are four additional 10 Mhz Low Phase Noise outputs plus four additional Timecode outputs (AM and DCLS switchable by channel). Rack ears are provided as shown. In my testing I was able to achieve lock to GPS time and screenshots of the results of my testing are provided below.
