The beads adorning the braided leather band are inspired by traditional Viking / Scandinavian art found in dig sites in Northern Europe and Iceland. Two of the beads feature line art of a dragon, representing Jormungandr the Midgard Serpent. Another two beads feature a woven Herringbone design. And the bead on the center bottom of the necklace features Hugin and Munin, the ravens of Odin. All of these beads are made of polished silver pewter which is lead-free, nickel-free, and completely safe to wear. The necklace can be easily opened by sliding the "S" shaped wire clasp out of the wolf's mouth, and then closed again by putting it back in. This makes putting the necklace on and taking it off very easy. You won't have to worry about it accidentally sliding off while wearing it.
