Description: Vintage 1964 Singer 221K Featherweight Sewing Machine Celery Color UK Near Mint. Commissioned in December 1964 this Singer 221K is just a few months short of being sixty years old. It has been a one family machine, but is ready for a new home. It has been well loved and lightly used over the years. Some of the feet and the owner manual have become separated from the machine over the years. It comes with the items pictured in the listing. The bobbin case is the original genuine SIMANCO Bobbin Case and is marked as such inside the bobbin case. A few of the indicators of the light wear and gentle care is the condition of the case, the condition of the original paint and even the lack of wear on the original Bakelite foot controller. Machine operates smoothly and sews sweetly Near Mint condition, not perfect but very nice! No scrapes, no scratches nor gouges in paint. One round paint wrinkle on table that looks like it came from factory that way. A few small spots where paint lifted see motor area. his was common to this era of featherweight as the factory was painting black motors without thorough prep work at that time.
