The watch winds smoothly, sets ticks and keeps pretty good time especially for an old mechanical. DIAL: The dial is signed Timex at the top and 17 jewel towards the bottom and the dial is in very good condition maybe showing some light and normal patina. CRYSTAL: The crystal has a layer of normal surface scratches, but you have to look at them close up. The crystal may clean up some with a good buffing but either way the dial is still clearly visible. CASE: Shiny silver tone case with a silver tone snap down case back. The case shows very little and light signs of ever being used and the case looks good. The case will show some normal and light surface wear, BAND: Nice silver tone bracelet that shows some very light signs of use wear and age. The bracelet still looks good and it is ready to wear.
