Description: Vintage Carson Pirie Scott & Co. wallet-style store guide, circa 1930-40s (?). The “wallet” is green leather with faded gilt stamped CARSON PIRIE SCOTT & CO CHICAGO on the front, snap closure. The first page states “Compliments of Carson Pirie Scott & Co.” with a list of the floors, followed by separate sections for each floor. Each floor section has a number of blank pages that follow for the customer to jot down notes. This customer was obviously using the “wallet” to collect recipes, not offerings in the department store! Stamped on the top flap is C. S. Lewis, General Salesman. Conditions: As seen – snap is in good working order, a few of the blank pages have been removed. Dimensions: 6 x 3-3/4 inches. Payment by Paypal.
