Vintage Early 1960s Zodiac Sea Wolf Diver Watch w/MISSING BEZEL FOR PARTS ONLY

As clearly seen in the pictures the hairspring has been pulled out which likely means the balance wheel needs to be replaced. While the time can be set without issue there's obviously no friction when the crown is wound. The bezel is missing.***********This seldom seen vintage early 1960's Zodiac Sea Wolf has a naturally toned originally white "SWISS" only signed dial that in my humble opinion has aged beautifully. The lume on only the dial and hands, which remains fully intact and no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has developed a lovely patina. The bezel is missing. The all stainless steel case shows heavy wear and pitting. The outside of the case back is stamped "ZODIAC SEAWOLF WATER-TESTED 20 ATM ESPECIALLY" and the inside of the case back is stamped "Zodiac Ltd." followed by "Le Locle Swiss,""ACIER,""INOXYDABLE" and "702 - 916." Between the lugs at 6 o'clock are the stamped numbers "1298719." The crystal needs to be replaced. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "Zodiac Ltd" and "70" stamped automatic movement does not run. As clearly seen in the pictures the hairspring has been pulled out which likely means the balance wheel needs to be replaced. While the time can be set without issue there's obviously no friction when the crown is wound. This watch measures approximately 35 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38 mm including the crown and approximately 17.75 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 6.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 10 mm. This watch is being sold for parts only. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.
