Description: This vintage IBM ThinkPad 701C Butterfly Laptop has had one owner who used it for about 10 years and its been in storage ever since. It has 100% original parts which are all in great shape with no broken or cracked pieces The main battery had relatively minor corrosion which has been cleaned and the battery compartment looks nearly pristine. The unit will not run on the main battery alone and I never got around to testing the battery itself. Needs new CMOS battery. Runs on Windows 95. This unit is in great condition other than the fact that the rubberized paint has turned sticky over time. I tried to clean it up a bit but the results were less than perfect. You can see in the last picture that the 701c emblem started to wipe away when I was cleaning it so I stopped at that point. I know you can get new dry transfer decals from 701c.org if you want to replace it. The screen is in beautiful shape. Comes with the multi port attachment, parallel port cable, floppy drive, power adapter Please don't hesitate to ask for more info or pictures.
