Description: This is a vintage RIC-NOR BOSTON 2-Blade Barehead ELECTRICIAN's Knife (TL-29) that is in very good condition and still has its original BAIL. It measures 3.75" long closed and has a 2.75" long Hawkbill main blade and a 2.75" long Flat Blade Screwdriver made of STAINLESS STEEL. It has a LINERLOCK mechanism to hold the screwdriver blade firmly in place when open, which is what made it a favorite among electricians and Signal Corp. linemen. It has black COMPOSITION HANDLES with a ribbed edge that are in good condition, but do have some initials lightly carved into the sides. It has not been cleaned or sharpened by me and is in as-found condition. Please see the pictures. The tang is stamped RIC-NOR over BOSTON, U.S.A. Ric-Nor was a large electrical supply house in Boston that operated from 1950-1970. They contracted the production of their knives to the PROVIDENCE CUTLERY COMPANY, but that is not marked on their product.
