THE CLOCK AND WATCH STORE Click images to enlarge Description Maker: Seth Thomas General Time Corp. c.1976 Model: Legacy Model #1314-000 Condition: This is a vintage Seth Thomas 8 day Westminster chime bracket clock made for General Motors Fischer Body Division as a Presentation Service Award that is currently running the full 8 days and keeping very accurate time. Although it is running, it is being sold as a non-running clock due to not having any service records and we strongly advise having it serviced prior to running on a regular basis. This clock is very clean and cosmetically looks fabulous having only a couple of nicks and scratches as you would expect on an almost 50 year old clock. It has good motion on the floating balance and the movement looks to be in decent condition for one of these older Hermle movements. This came from a collection that was maticulously kept and their clocks were properly serviced regularly. Unfortunately, there were no records on when it was last serviced which is the ONLY reason why it is being sold as a non-runner for restoration. This is a very nice clock and has some automotive history tied to it as well. I take great care in packing all the items being sold but, take extra precautions when packing clocks. I do everything I can to prevent your clock arriving damaged. Due to rising costs and some areas no longer being the rates they used to be, I no longer will offer large wall clocks with free shipping.
