To me, the color or the coral appears to be much more red than orange as I have a few pieces here to compare it with. It is a really cool necklace in excellent vintage condition meaning light signs of wear if any and well taken care of. I love the bigger chunks of coral and the Heishi bead style of the smaller ones. It is a sturdy, quality piece and it looks like it. It also has some nice weight to it. Great to give as a gift or keep for your growing necklace collection. I picked this necklace up from an estate lot and many of the pieces were Native American, Mexican and South Western jewelry and some other world traveler pieces as I call them. I bring this up because, in addition to 925, the piece is marked FD on the clasp. I have spent a lot time searching for the correct maker and come up empty handed, so perhaps someone reading this may know and shed some light on the mystery. I did not polish or clean this piece to leave on the patina for folks that like it, I see very little if any wear on this piece. It really is in great condition! Thanks so much for looking!
