Description: Here is a very nice copy of Women of the Sea by Edward Rowe Snow, published by Dodd, Mead in 1962, a first printing, in an unclipped jacket ($4.00). This book continues Rowe's relaying of sea tales, this time, focusing on women, whether it be as a pirate, or a new widow who finds herself the captain. Book includes a section of pictures and drawings on coated stock in the center. Dust jacket presents very well, small piece of sticker to the top right of the inset picture on the cover, can probably be removed, but I left it. Very light wear to edges and corners. Unfortunately there were two small tears to the back bottom dust jacket that someone sealed with tape, and you can see the bleed through. Otherwise, book itself is a attractive green cloth with the title in silver on the spine. The top outside corners have slight bumps to them, and the insides are tight and clean, with the exception of a previous owner's name in neat red script on the flyleaf. I feel this is a very presentable copy of this title. Please make sure to view all the scans included. I take scans of all sides of the books so you know what you are getting, I do not use stock photos, or generic descriptions.
