Description: WW1 GERMAN GEW 98 BAYONET W/ SCABBARD 1916. Bayonet and scabbard may have been shortened by the Turks at some time post WW1, hard to say for sure. Arsenal markings on the top of the blade at the finial are somewhat worn but still legible. The ricasso markings show some wear but are overall good. Please see the pics. The number stamped on the pommel appears to be "7417". Strong spring. Blade with scabbard measures just over 16" in length. Buyer to pay flat $12 for shipping within the CONUS only.
